Canton-Potsdam (N.Y.) Hospital is planning a $33 million project that will include an outpatient surgery center and physician offices, according to a Watertown Daily Times report.
Construction on the three-story facility is expected to begin in September. The facility will be built on a 270-acre plot purchased last year, according to the report. The project is still subject to certificate of need approval.
The hospital has recruited a number of new surgeons. The surgery center will offer ophthalmology, orthopedics, ENT, urology, gastroenterology and pain management procedures.
