AK Surgeon Group Submits New CON Application for Kenai Surgery Center
An Alaska surgeon group that had a certificate of need request to build an ambulatory surgery center in Kenai denied by the state has completed and submitted a new CON application for the facility, according to state documents.
The group — Kahtnu Ventures — is proposing to construct a single-story freestanding ambulatory surgical center that will be 8,365 square feet with a projected cost of just under $9.1 million. The projected completion date is spring 2013.
The first application for the new ASC was denied because of "untimely submission of information," according to earlier reports.
