9 recent ASC acquisitions

Here are nine recent ambulatory surgery center and ASC real estate acquisitions that have recently been announced or closed.

Carter Validus Mission Critical REIT II acquired Cy-Fair Surgery Center in Houston.
The facility is 100 percent net leased to Cy-Fair Surgery Center, LTD. The surgery center is CVMC REIT II’s first property.

Flagler Hospital in St. Augustine, Fla., intends to acquire St. Augustine Surgery Center. The acquisition is expected to close on Oct. 31.

Northstar Healthcare has reached an agreement with First Surgical Partners to form a new business entity, which will own and operate First Street Hospital and First Street Surgical Center, both in Houston. Northstar will own 51 percent of the new entity.

During the second quarter of 2014, Physicians Realty Trust acquired the Surgical Institute of Monroe (Mich.) Ambulatory Surgery Center facility.

United Surgical Partners International acquired three facilities during the second quarter of 2014 and two additional centers after the quarter's close.
