Here are five things to know:
1. Lauritzen Outpatient Center costs $71 million and will consolidate Omaha-based Nebraska Medical Center’s outpatient services.
2. HOK and RDG Planning & Design received insight from 150 medical and administrative personnel at Nebraska Medicine’s outpatient facilities prior to building the facility.
3. The outpatient facility’s first floor features an orthopedic clinic, an outpatient pharmacy and a radiology department.
4. The second floor houses the Fritch Surgery Center, which includes 10 operating rooms and 40 pre- and post-operation rooms.
5. Lauritzen Outpatient Center’s third floor includes services such as audiology, allergy, general surgery, trauma, plastics, oral and maxillofacial surgery, urology, facial prosthetics and otorhinolaryngology.
