Bascom Palmer Eye Institute plans to add a 19,800-square-foot ambulatory surgery center and medical office building in Naples, Fla. The new facility will replace its current 2,400-square-foot location.
Delaware Eye Surgery Center, based in Dover, announced the completion of its 25,000th surgical procedure. The surgery center has been open for 10 years.
Evergreen Eye Center in Federal Way, Wash., recently became one of the first centers in the state to perform bladeless cataract surgery. John Jarstad, MD, founder of the center, performed the procedure.

NVISION Laser Eye Centers announced the acquisition of two practices of Nevada Eye Care. NVISION now includes 17 eye centers.
Prescott (Ariz.) Vision & Eye Surgery Center added an office on the Yavapai Regional Medical Center East Campus. The new center grew in 2013 with the addition of preoperative and postoperative laser refractive and cataract surgery management.
