5 Recent Ambulatory Surgery Center Plans, Openings & Expansions

Here are five ambulatory surgery centers that are being planned, expanded or recently opened.     

Orthopedic Associates opened its 9,200-square-foot Minimally Invasive Surgery Hawaii in Honolulu in February. The surgery center includes three operating rooms.

Charleston, S.C.-based Palmetto Primary Care and Equity Healthcare have proposed a $135 million medical hub project, which would include an ambulatory surgery center.

The San Antonio Orthopaedic Group recently expanded the number of operating rooms at its ambulatory surgery center. The ASC now has eight operating rooms and two treatment rooms.

The Surgery Center of Southern Oregon in Medford plans to begin a 1,081-square-foot expansion of its existing facility and to add a 12,396-square-foot facility north of its current location.

Meridian Surgical Partners, LLC (MSP) announces the opening of its newly-relocated facility, Treasure Coast Center for Surgery in Stuart, Florida.
