Olympus to Unveil New ENT Energy Platform at AAO Meeting

Olympus will showcase the Olympus DIEGO ELITE Multidebrider, a new platform for minimally invasive sinus surgery, at the American Association of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Society Annual Meeting to be held in Vancouver, Canada from Sept. 29 to Oct. 2.

The Olympus DIEGO ELITE can be used for sinus surgery, polypectomy, adenoidectomy, tonsillectomy, inferior turbinate reduction and laryngeal procedures.

The ENT platform includes both monopolar and bipolar energy blades for hemostasis and traditional shaver blades.

The platform has been shown to decrease procedure time by as much as 12 percent.
