Oklahoma's Stillwater Medical Center Purchases C-Arm for Surgery Center

The Stillwater (Okla.) Medical Center Authority Board of Trustees has approved the purchase of a C-arm for $226,281 for the hospital's surgery center, according to a Stillwater NewsPress report.

According to minutes from the hospital's finance committee, the surgery center has an overall capital budget of $500,000.

A C-arm is an imaging scanner intensifier with radiographic capabilities. The piece of equipment will be used for pain management, orthopedic surgery and general surgery.
