Louisiana Lions Eye Bank Unveils Corneal Transplant Device

Louisiana Lions Eye Bank in Shreveport unveiled a new device that could help streamline the cornea transplant process, according to a Shreveport Times report.

The device is called Moria, and it is used to cut corneas gathered from organ donors with precision.

The eye bank serves 33 parishes in Louisiana.
