The Joint Commission honored West Florida Healthcare in Pensacola, as a Top Performer on Key Quality Measures, according to Pensacola News Journal.
West Florida Healthcare has received this honor for five consecutive years. The hospital is one of 117 hospitals nationally to receive the award five years in a row. The Joint Commission honors hospitals that improve outcomes with evidence-based interventions.
West Florida Healthcare also received an "A" score in the Fall 2015 Hospital Safety Score by Leapfrog Group.
