Norovirus infects GOP convention staff members: 4 key notes

Up to 11 California Republican staff members are exhibiting signs of norovirus and are being quarantined in a hotel an hour outside Cleveland, according to The Hill.

Here are four key notes:

1. The Erie County (Ohio) Health Department is testing staff members to determine if they have norovirus.

2. Staff members can rejoin the convention 24 hours after their symptoms dissipate.

3. Officials are concerned norovirus may have infected nearly 500 other delegation members.

4. Symptoms can last for up to three days.
