In their "Transformative Health Care" report, the National Patient Safety Foundation listed five key areas for practices to focus on to enhance patient safety, according to H&HN.
Here are five areas:
1. Patient engagement
2. Transparency
3. Put meaning into work and workplace safety
4. Care integration
5. Medical education reform
