A Chicago-based start-up launched an app that allows people to connect with a healthcare professional, according to a ChicagoInno report.
The app, Go2Nurse, lets people request healthcare service to their homes and pay within the app. It also allows people to chat with healthcare providers through the app. It emulates the Uber- model of bringing on-demand services to the healthcare field.
The app currently includes 225 registered nurses; however, the company is in talks to close a deal with another Chicago organization that is a part of a large medical group, according to the report.
