11 new drugs on FDA's watch list

The FDA listed 11 new drugs on its watch list in December 2016 because of the serious medical risk they post.

Here's are the drugs and their potential risks:

  1. Contrave can cause loss of consciousness
  2. Coumadin, Eliquis, Pradaxa, Savaysa and Xarelto can cause menorrhagia
  3. Depo-Medrol, Depo-Provera and Depo-Provera CI can cause medication errors
  4. Diabeta tablets can cause skin reactions
  5. Imbruvica can cause pneumocystis jirovecii pneumonia
  6. Nitropress injection can cause carboxyhemoglobinemia
  7. Northera capsules can cause cerebrovascular accident
  8. Nucala for injection can cause anaphylaxis
  9. Opsumit can cause fluid overload
  10. Otezla can cause diarrhea, nausea and vomiting
  11. There are use errors associated with Tanzeum pens
