Allan Fine is the senior vice president and chief strategy and operations officer at The New York Eye & Ear Infirmary, a non-profit hospital specializing in ophthalmology, otolaryngology/ head and neck surgery and plastic and reconstructive surgery. Mr. Fine has more than 30 years of healthcare leadership experience.
Prior joining NYEE, Mr. Fine worked as managing director of Healthios in Northbrook, Ill., a provider of investment banking and strategic advisory services for the healthcare industry. He served in this role in 2007. Before that, Mr. Fine was a director of the life sciences and healthcare practice at Navigant Consulting from 2002 to 2006, providing business consulting services to hospitals, healthcare systems and pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device manufacturers.
Mr. Fine's other executive leadership roles include stints at CHPS Consulting, which was acquired by Navigant Consulting, Ernst & Young and Quorum Health Resources, all of which are located in Chicago. Mr. Fine spoke last year at two Becker's Healthcare conferences, where he discussed trends and factors that drive successful hospital-ASC joint ventures.
Mr. Fine received his MBA degree in Health Care Administration from Bernard M. Baruch College – Mount Sinai School of Medicine at the City University of New York.
