Joseph L. Cappiello is the chief operating officer for Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program. He previously served as vice president of accreditation operations at The Joint Commission and has led his own consultancy to help healthcare facilities improve and maintain compliance with accreditation standards.
Raman Chopra is a principal with The C/N Group, where he oversees the firm's diagnostic imaging and hospitality operations as well as marketing and technology-related activities. He previously co-founded OpenMarkets and Imaging Acquisitions.
Derbora Lee Crook is the administrator of Valley Ambulatory Surgery Center in St. Charles, Ill. She currently serves as a member of the Illinois Ambulatory Surgical Treatment Center Licensing Board.
Alisa Fischer is the administrator of St. Augustine (Fla.) Surgery Center, which was purchased by Ambulatory Surgery Centers of America in 2006. She previously served as manager of surgery at BayCare Health System.
Tracy Hoeft-Hoffman, RN, MSN, MBA, is administrator of Fremont (Neb.) Surgical Center, a multispecialty ASC with pain management, ENT, orthopedics and podiatry, among other specialties. She previously served as administrator of Hastings (Neb.) Surgery Center, a Nueterra Healthcare facility.
Tom Jacobs is president and CEO of MedHQ, a Westchester, Ill.-based business office outsourcing service for healthcare, ambulatory surgery centers and surgical hospitals. He has held the position since 2003 and works to reduce costs, improve operations and reduce risk for customers across the country.
P. Jeffrey Jarrett, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at Houston Orthopaedic Surgery Center with a special interest in orthopedic and spine procedure. He also serves as an assistant professor of orthopedic surgery at Mercer University.
Larry McTavish is the CEO of SourceMedical, a source for outpatient solutions. He has more than 40 years of experience in software and information services, and previously served as CEO of Comdata and Hogan Systems.
Arvind Movva, MD, is the CEO of Regional SurgiCenter in Moline, Ill., and is affiliated with Heartland Clinic, Gastroenterology Consultants and Valley View Anesthesia. Dr. Movva completed a fellowship in gastroenterology at Medical College of Georgia.
Vito Quatela, MD, is co-founder and CEO of Ambulatory Healthcare Strategies, a company specializing in administrative, oversight and consulting services for ASCs. He has developed and owned two ASCs in Rochester, N.Y.
Larry Teuber, MD, is founder and physician executive of Black Hills Surgery Center in Rapid City, S.D., and chief medical officer and president of Medical Facilities Corporation. Dr. Teuber is a board certified neurosurgeon and managing partner of The Spine Center in Rapid City.
William Wilcox is the founder and chairman of United Surgical Partners International, which owns and operates outpatient surgical facilities across the United States and the United Kingdom. He previously served as the company's president and CEO.
