Joe Macies is the director and executive vice president of AmkaiSolutions, a provider of ambulatory surgery center electronic medical record and business management software. Mr. Macies is a certified management consultant and certified management accountant. He has experience in technology, business management, sales, professional services and operations in industries including healthcare, government and high tech.
He has served as a senior client partner at international consulting firms Accenture and Unisys. Mr. Macies has also held senior executive roles at two start-up companies.
AmkaiSolutions recently merged with Surgical Information Systems. "SIS is a perioperative leader, both from a product history and market leadership perspective," said Mr. Macies in a recent Becker's ASC Review report. "By bringing complementary perioperative expertise and expanded resources in areas such as product development and client support, our merger with SIS helps us deliver greater value and substantial short-term and long-term benefits to our clients."
Mr. Macies earned his MBA from York University in Ontario, Canada.
