7 Recent ASC Industry Leadership Changes

From ambulatory surgery center industry companies to individual ASCs, here are seven ASC leaders that recently changed positions.  

Laurie Bailey, previously administrative director of Texas Surgical Center, has been named the administrative director of San Marcos (Texas) Surgical Center.

Sheran Brown recently became the director of business office at San Marcos (Texas) Surgery Center. Previously, she served as the business office manager at South Texas Surgical Center.

Dan Corbett recently became the administrator at Reagan Street Surgery Center in Los Alamitos, Calif. He also recently earned his CASC certification. Prior to his current role, Mr. Corbett was the administrator of Orangewood Surgical Center.

Cheri Foster recently became the billing supervisor at Pacific Rim Outpatient Surgery Center in Bellingham, Wash. She previously served as the coding and billing department manager at Bellingham ENT.

Suzan Kizirian, previously the principal of Kizirian Health Care Consulting, has been appointed the chief operating officer of Physician Partners of America.

Aimee Mingus, RN, was recently appointed Director of Clinical Operations for the company's West Coast surgery centers. Prior to her new role, Ms. Mingus served as pre- and postoperative supervisor for Regent's Surgery Center of Anchorage.

Cheryl Spencer, a veteran of the ASC industry, has been appointed CEO of Victory Healthcare's new $70 million surgical hospital being constructed in Fort Worth, Texas. Ms. Spencer helped open Clear Fork Surgery Center and served as the center's administrator for 10 years. Prior to working with Clear Fork Surgery Center, she served as nurse manager for Plaza Day Surgery in Fort Worth.
