5 Recent Leadership Moves & Accomplishments in the Surgery Center Industry

Here are five recent leadership changes and achievements in the ambulatory surgery center industry.

Vickie Arjoyan, facility administrator and director of nursing at Specialty Surgical Center-Brighton Way in Beverly Hill, Calif., has earned her CASC and bachelor of science in nursing degree. Ms. Arjoyan also celebrated her 15th year with the Symbion-affiliated center.

Roy Georgia stepped into the role of chief information officer at Surgical Care Affiliates eight months ago. Mr. Georgia's experience includes co-founding two mobile start-ups.

Chase Neal recently joined ASCOA as a vice president of acquisitions and development. Previously, Mr. Neal served as senior vice president and principal of The Securities Group.

Within the past year, Caryl Serbin, RN, BSN, LHRM, has founded Serbin Medical Consulting. Previously, Ms. Serbin served as president and founder of Serbin Surgery Center Billing and Surgery Consultants of America.

Tim Shannon has served as the administrator of Northridge Surgery Center in Madison, Tenn., for a year. Previously, Mr. Shannon was a vice president with Blue Chip Surgical Center Partners.
