5 Recent ASC Industry Leadership Moves

Here are five recent leadership moves in the ambulatory surgery center industry.

Nine months ago, Mark Babin joined ASD Management as a vice president of development. His previous experience includes regional manager at Philips and healthcare vertical specialist at Relational Technology Solutions.

Doug McMinn recently stepped into the role of vice president of sales and business development at Northstar Healthcare. Mr. McMinn is also the president and owner of Medical Sales and Business Development Solutions.

Brandon O'Dell became the administrator of Surgery Center of Athens (Ga.) a little more than a year ago. Surgery Center of Athens is affiliated with Ambulatory Surgical Centers of America.

John Seitz, CEO and Founder of MMX Healthcare, joined IT support and services company UST-Global as a healthcare transformation strategist. MMX Healthcare has worked with UST-Global to develop and deploy its ASC solutions for the past two years.

Andrea Venezio has been named a managing partner with Kaye/Bassman International in its ambulatory surgery center division. Ms. Venezio previously served as director of ambulatory surgery centers, practice partner at Kaye/Bassman.
