An exempt, executive management position responsible for planning, organizing, and directing all operations of a 20-office orthopedic practice, 30 orthopedic surgeons and pain management physicians, three rural hospitals, ASC, imaging center, therapy and growing primary care network.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Oversees the daily operations of the entire organization (with the exception of Finance and Information Technology).
- Assists chief executive officer in developing and implementing the strategic long- and short-range plans and its business plan.
- Represents clinic, surgery center, hospitals and therapy with regulatory agencies, insurance carriers, and other professional and community groups.
- Negotiates with managed care plans and ensures the company's long-term financial stability.
- Maintains compliance with governmental regulations and healthcare requirements.
- Enhances operational effectiveness, emphasizing cost containment and high-quality patient care.
- Assist in recruiting and managing physicians.
Education: Master's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or public administration.
Experience: Ten years of healthcare management experience of at least senior-management level.
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of policies and procedures to manage operations and ensure effective patient care.
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of healthcare administration, fiscal management, and government regulations and reimbursements.
