With ICD-10 move, Omega Healthcare to hire 2,300 in 2015

Omega Healthcare says it is planning a surge in hiring this year — estimating 2,300 new employees over the course of 2015.

The new positions will include coders, especially, officials with Omega said, as the company will be taking on more coding, accounting, data and revenue cycle management for more health care companies in the U.S.

Omega CEO Gopi Natarajan told BusinessLine the company is seeing strong growth this year particularly because of the country's ICD-10 needs.
"We have been growing at 30 percent in the last few years and expect to grow at 39 percent in the 2016 financial year," he said.
