Trio Consulting acquired iMedX's business unit, Alpha Transcription, a transcription firm serving Veteran Affairs hospitals and U.S. Department of Defense medical facilities.
Trio Consulting is a certified Small Business Administration Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned company, which focuses on leadership, technology, training and management consulting for veterans. The acquisition of Alpha Transcription supports Trio's goal of supporting veterans through medical transcription. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
iMedX plans to use proceeds from the transaction to further invest in its core business —providing medical transcription technology and services, medical coding services and data analytics solutions.
