MedData, a revenue cycle management and patient financial services provider, has launched a new iPhone app for its surgical practice clients, according to a benzinga report.
The app, Patient Lists, is designed to streamline the billing process for surgical practices. The app includes HIPAA-compliant security. Surgeons can enter patients' names and medical record numbers, note whether they've been admitted or discharged and the app automatically transmits data to MedData's proprietary coding software, according to the report.
