MedAssets Continues to Support ICD-10 Transition

MedAssets, a healthcare performance improvement company, has announced its continued support of the transition to ICD-10 in light on of the U.S. Senate's decision to pass the Protecting Access to Medicare Act of 2014, which includes a provision delaying ICD-10 until Oct. 1, 2015.

The company notes that some providers may be frustrated by the delay, while others may be relieved to have the additional time to prepare. The company continues to offer ICD-10 tools and support.
