Heather Vick was named director of physician coding and compliance for Florida HealthCare Partners, according to The Daytona Beach News-Journal.
Here are four points:
1. Florida Hospital HealthCare Partners is a group of physicians employed at the five Florida Hospitals in Flagler and Volusia counties.
2. Ms. Vick will be responsible for auditing and coding functions for more than 160 primary care physicians and specialists.
3. Ms. Vick recently served as coding and compliance manager. She joined the physician group in January 2009.
4. She has certifications as a professional coder, general coder, hematology and oncology coder. Additionally, Ms. Vick is a certified professional medical auditor.
