Coventry Health Care Replaces Blue Cross as Administrator for Nebraska Health Program
Coventry Health Care of Nebraska will be the new health plan administrator for a state program that provides health insurance for residents who can’t get affordable coverage because of medical problems, according to a report by The Republic.
Coventry Health Care of Nebraska is a national managed care company. Coventry will administer benefits for Nebraska’s Comprehensive Health Insurance Pool starting April 1. Benefits are currently administered by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska.
