Anthem Blue Cross members may now interact with Spanish-speaking physicians via live video visits.
Here are six highlights:
1. LiveHealth Online has developed Cuidado Médico for Spanish-speaking patients to use via a smartphone or tablet.
2. Cuidado Médico allows Anthem Blue Cross members to connect with a Spanish-speaking, U.S.-based and board-certified physician to ask about common health conditions.
3. Through Cuidado Médico, physicians can view patients' conditions, develop treatment plans and send prescriptions to pharmacies.
4. Patients may access physicians through Cuidado Médico between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m., Pacific time, anytime of the year.
5. Anthem members' health plans include LiveHealth Online visits as a benefit, so the cost will be equal to or less than a primary office visit.
6. Those California residents who are not Anthem members may use Cuidado Médico for $49 per visit.
