Kaiser Health News reports support for former President Barack Obama's 2010 ACA totaled 48 percent in February 2017, the highest approval ratings since the law's enactment.
Here are four things to know:
1. Sixty-percent of respondents said they do not support Republicans' current proposals for giving states control over Medicaid.
2. Among Republicans, 74 percent disapprove of the law while 73 percent of Democrats are in favor.
3. Only 31 percent of Republicans want an immediate ACA repeal. Forty-seven percent endorse a simultaneous repeal and replacement while 16 percent of Republicans do not want the ACA repeal.
4. Eighty-four percent of respondents said it was "very" or "somewhat" important for the government to continue issuing federal funds to Medicaid-expansion states.
