ACA lawsuit delayed until President-elect Trump steps into White House — 3 things to know

The U.S. Court of Appeals granted the GOP's request to delay the trial against the ACA until President-elect Donald Trump takes office, The Hill reported.

Here are three things to know:

1. In the lawsuit, Republicans contend that ACA subsidies are illegal. The suit aims to stop the flow of subsidies to payers.

2. President Barack Obama has blocked the lawsuit, which has been going on for the past two years.

3. However, the lawsuit may not matter if President-elect Trump follows through with plans to repeal with ACA.
