84% of Americans support Medicaid expansion: 4 findings

Here are four findings from the poll:

1. Eighty-four percent said it is important to maintain federal funds for Medicaid-expansion states.

2. Sixty-nine percent of Republicans ranked funding as important, as opposed to 95 percent of Democrats.

3. Almost 50 percent want to keep federal Medicaid spending the same.

4. Thirty-six percent want to increase Medicaid funding and 12 percent want to reduce spending.
