The American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities granted the Eye Surgery and Laser Clinic in Concord, N.C., accreditation in June.
Here are five things to know about the center:
1. The Eye Surgery and Laser Clinic is a fully licensed outpatient surgery center that also has approval from the state of North Carolina.
2. There are two surgical suites designed for efficiency and comfort during eye procedures.
3. Services at the surgery center include cataract surgery, glaucoma surgery and limited retina and oculoplastics surgery.
4. The surgery center includes postoperative cataract YAG lasers.
5. Ten physicians are associated with the center.
