Southern Surgery Center in Hattiesburg, Miss., has achieved its fourth consecutive three-year accreditation by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, according to a Hattiesburg American report.
The surgery center includes four operating rooms, one procedure room, nine pre-operative bays, nine recovery bays and two overnight extended care rooms. It also includes nine full-time nurses and 14 physicians, according to the report.
