Prairie States Surgical Center in South Dakota received Accreditation Association of Ambulatory Health Care accreditation, according to the AAAHC newsletter.

1. The ASC is orthopedics-focused and includes foot and ankle surgery.
2. The ASC is located in a suite at OCA Orthopaedic Consultants and Alvine Foot & Ankle Center.
3. Procedures include complex foot and ankle fractures, diabetic foot management, degenerative joint conditions and pain management.
4. There are five physicians associated with the center that have more than 33 years of combined experience in orthopedic foot and ankle care.
