Becker's Operating Room Clinical Quality & Infection Control has launched a new database that provides a wide range of downloadable tools and resources designed to help healthcare providers improve quality of care and ensure a safe working environment for their staff members.
The database, which can be accessed by clicking here, includes more than 70 reports that link to free, downloadable and often adaptable tools for use in surgery centers, hospitals and other provider organizations.
Resources are organized by category, which include hand hygiene, infection control, medication reconciliation/safety, OSHA/sharps safety, patient satisfaction and surgical site infection/would care.
The editorial team of Becker's Operating Room Clinical Quality & Infection Control will add several new tools to the database each week.
Providers looking for a tool or resource not available in the database are encouraged to email requests to rob@beckersasc.com. Providers interested in sharing tools and resources with their peers should also email rob@beckersasc.com.
The tools provided in the database are for educational purposes only. Becker's Operating Room Clinical Quality & Infection Control advises providers to review their facility's policies, accreditation standards and state and federal agency requirements before adapting and using the resources in their organization.
