National Quality Forum Creates Web Page Devoted to Patient Safety
The National Quality Forum has created a new page on its website devoted to patient safety, according to an NQF release.
The page was created in response to the Department of Health and Human Services' announcement of the Partnership for Patients initiative, a project that aims to help save 60,000 lives by stopping preventable injuries and complications in patient care over the next three years.
The NQF page details the Forum's efforts in patient safety over the past 10 years, links to a list of John M. Eisenberg Patient Safety and Quality Award winners and links to various projects on patient safety measures, quality reporting and best practices that the Forum has published over the years.
Access the NQF's webpage on patient safety.
