Marsh Foundation receives CARF accreditation — 6 things to know

The Marsh Foundation recently was reaccredited by CARF International, according to the Van Wert Independent.

Here are six things to know:

1. The accreditation lasts for a period of three years.

2. It was accredited for its case management services including mental health for children and adolescents, outpatient treatment and mental health in adults.

3. The Marsh Foundation's latest accreditation is its fourth consecutive three-year accreditation.

4. The accreditation represents the highest level of accreditation that can be granted to an organization due to its superior conformance to the CARF standards.

5. Marsh had to undergo an intense peer review process and demonstrated to surveyors its programs and services are high quality.

6. CARF stated Marsh's staff provided high quality care for its patients by going above and beyond to meet their needs. The patients are treated with dignity and respect.
