Earlier this year, Jack Egnatinsky, MD, visited the Aeromedical Staging Facility to place an Accreditation Association of Ambulatory Health Care coins on display, according to the AAAHC newsletter.
The AAAHC surveyors carry special AAAHC coins while on military surveys and one or more may be given to "individuals who have provided exceptional service." The coins are also given to commemorate surveys.
The display where Dr. Egnatinsky recently placed a coin is part of a display that holds coins from wounded warriors on their way home.
