Foad Nahai, MD, is a plastic surgeon at Emory Healthcare in Atlanta and the president-elect of the American Association for the Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities, a position he's held since 2011. Dr. Nahai has also been president of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
In addition to his leadership roles in various organizations, Dr. Nahai was director of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and currently is editor-in-chief of Aesthetic Surgery Journal. He speaks on plastic surgery internationally and earned several awards, including the Distinguished Service Award from the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Nahai earned his medical degree at the University of Bristol in England and completed his residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore and Emory University Hospital in Atlanta. His additional training includes a fellowship at Emory.
