9 ASCs achieving accreditation — September

Here are nine ambulatory surgery centers that achieved accreditation, reaccreditation or certification.

Midwest Medical Center of Elizabeth (Ill.) was accredited by the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities.

The Western Maryland Surgicenter was reaccredited by the Joint Commission, the Cumberland Times-News reports.

Northborough, Mass.-based Classique Medical Spa earned accreditation from the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities.

La Lima Medical Center in San Pedro Sula, Honduras was the first center in the region to earn accreditation from the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care.

Texas-based Memorial Hermann Orthopedic & Spine Hospital was awarded a gold seal of approval for advanced certification for total hip and knee replacement from the Joint Commission, Katy Magazine reports.
