6 key notes about two outpatient centers receiving accreditation

Two outpatient surgery centers received accreditation recently.

The EndoCenter at Voorhees (N.J.) and St. Cloud (Minn.) Center for Ophthalmic Surgery received Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care accreditation at the end of April and beginning of May.

Here are three things to know about the Endo Center at Voorhees:

1. There are 18 physicians associated with the center.

2. Physicians at the center treat patients with Barrett's Esophagus, colorectal cancer, Chron's disease, liver disease, irritable bowel syndrome in addition to other conditions.

3. The center is affiliated with AmSurg.

Here are three things to know about St. Cloud Center for Ophthalmic Surgery:

1. There are three physicians associated with the center.

2. The center is affiliated with AmSurg.

3. Procedures at the center include laser-assisted cataract surgery, IOLs, corneal transplants, iStent glaucoma surgery and refractive surgery, among other procedures.
