Syracuse VA Medical Center names Dr. Virginia Nelson anesthesia chief

Syracuse (N.Y.) VA Medical Center named Virginia Nelson, MD, chief of anesthesia, according to a report by The Post-Standard.

Dr. Nelson is a diplomat of the American Board of Anesthesia and National Board of Medical Examiners. She has completed a cardiothoracic anesthesia fellowship at University of Michigan Medicine School in Ann Arbor, according to the report.
