Sheridan, the physician services division of AmSurg, acquired Northside Anesthesiology Consultants in Atlanta.
Here are four key notes:
1. Northside Anesthesiology Consultants includes 60 physicians.
2. It is also the exclusive provider of anesthesiology for Northside Hospital Healthcare System in Macon, Ga., which owns and operates three acute-care hospitals and 24 associated sites.
3. Sheridan provides outsourced physician services in multiple specialties to hospitals, ASCs and other healthcare facilities.
4. AmSurg owned and operated 253 ASCs, as of Sept. 30.
