The National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke has released its draft National Pain Strategy for public comment.
The draft strategy includes objectives and plans related to key areas of pain and pain care, including professional education and training, public education and communication, service delivery and reimbursement as well as population research. It includes input from many offices across the HHS, Department of Defense and Department of Veterans Affairs. It also includes input from scientific and clinical experts and pain patient advocates.
NINDS is accepting comments on the draft by May 20.
