Mercy Medical Center-Sioux City (Iowa) named John Beacom, MD, and Arthur Molnar, MD, co-directors of anesthesia, according to a Sioux City Journal report.

1. Dr. Beacom and Dr. Molnar will lead anesthesia, participate in process excellence improvement strategies and take part in various committee activities.
2. Dr. Beacom completed his internship and residency programs at the University of Illinois in Chicago.
3. Dr. Beacom also has affiliations Swedish Covenant Hospital in Chicago and Maywood, Ill.-based Loyola Gottlieb Memorial Hospital.
4. Dr. Molnar completed his internship and residency programs through the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee and is affiliated with Saint Elizabeth Regional Medical Center in Lincoln, Neb.
