Flagstaff (Ariz.) Medical Center named anesthesiologist John Marvel, DO, president of the medical staff, according to an AZ Daily Sun report.
In his new role, Dr. Marvel will also serve on FMC's board of directors. He completed his anesthesia residency at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, where he received the Anesthesia Resident of the Year award. He has a special interest in computerized anesthesia information systems, according to the report.
