The U.S. Food and Drug Administration appointed Padma Gulur, MD, to its Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee, according to an ASA report.
Dr. Gulur is a professor in the department of anesthesiology and perioperative care at the University of California, Irvine. She is also a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists' Committee on Pain Medicine.
The Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee provides advice to the FDA on scientific, technical and medical issues concerning drug compounding.
