The American Society of Anesthesiologists announced it has chosen Premier, a healthcare improvement company, to develop a learning collaborative for its Perioperative Surgical Home model of care.
ASA's Perioperative Surgical Home model is a patient-centered, physician-led model of coordinated care that guides a patient throughout the entire surgical experience. The learning collaborative intends to bring healthcare organizations together to develop, pilot and evaluate this model of care.
Premier will help develop, implement and manage the learning collaborative.
