The American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians named Aaron K. Calodney, MD, president, according to a KLTV report.

1. Dr. Calodney practices interventional pain management in Tyler, Texas.
2. He is a long-time member of ASIPP and serves on its board of directors.
3. He completed his residency in anesthesiology and fellowship in interventional pain management at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. He also completed an additional fellowship in pediatric anesthesia at Denver Children's Hospital.
4. He succeeds Peter S. Staats, MD, as president.
